Description: Tall shrub; stems white, finely stellate-pubescent, soon becoming glabrous.
Leaves ± terete, c. 0.8 cm long, 1 mm wide, slightly curved upwards, apex acute, margins closely revolute, upper and lower (usually obscured) surfaces smooth, petiole flattened.
Flowers solitary in the upper leaf axils; peduncle short; pedicel fleshy. Calyx passing into the fleshy pedicel apex, lobes triangular, glabrous. Petals narrow-elliptic, c. 5 mm long, gland-dotted, glabrous.
Fruit not seen.
Flowering: early spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Rare, from higher Blue Mtns, on barren rocky situations.
