Lechenaultia divaricata F.Muell. APNI* 
Description: Glabrous shrub to 1 m high and 0.7 m diam. with divaricate and often tangled branches.
Leaves reduced to triangular scales, 1–3 mm long, glabrous, ultimately scarious.
Flowers scattered along the branches or terminal. Sepals linear-triangular, to 3 mm long. Corolla to 16 mm long, bearded with white hairs near the base inside, yellow or white. Ovary 4–6 mm long; style 9–11 mm long.
Capsule cylindrical, pod-like, 1–3 cm long, sometimes constricted along its length, sometimes beaked, straw-coloured; seeds 1–4 in a single row, 3–4 mm long.
Flowering: summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on sand dunes in arid regions; in the Bourke district and in the extreme NW of the State.
