Description: Small spreading shrub to 1 m high; stems and leaves densely covered with white hairs.
Leaves up to 4 cm long; leaflets usually 9–13, obovate or cuneate, 2.5–8 mm long, 1–7 mm wide, shortly mucronate; stipules very narrow-triangular, up to 4 mm long, often persistent but not spinescent.
Inflorescences 3–6 cm long. Calyx tomentose, red-brown or rarely white, teeth equal to or longer than the tube. Petals deep pink to red.
Pod terete, 20–35 mm long, white-tomentose; seeds several, endocarp spotted.
Distribution and occurrence: Restricted to rocky hills near Depot Glen.
