Indigofera baileyi F.Muell. APNI* 
Description: Erect perennial herb, to 0.4 m high, with woody rootstock; young stems green to brown with fine appressed hairs.
Leaves 2.5–7.5 cm long; leaflets mostly 7–15, elliptic to obovate, 4–19 mm long, 2–10 mm wide, obtuse with a small mucro; stipules triangular, up to 2 mm long.
Inflorescences mostly 11–17 cm long, longer than leaves. Calyx sparsely white-hairy, the teeth shorter than the tube. Petals pink to purple.
Pods terete, 1.4–3 cm long, glabrous; seeds several, endocarp not, or obscurely, spotted.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in open woodlands on granite or basalt soils. Rare in NSW, known from north of Liston and from the Inverell region.
