Hymenophyllum pumilum C.Moore APNI*
Description: Delicate epiphyte.
Rhizome long-creeping, branched, dark brown to black, young parts sparsely covered with red-brown hairs.
Fronds to 3.5 cm long; stipe not winged, wiry, 4–17 mm long; rachis usually winged; lamina 1-pinnatifid, glabrous, to 2 cm long and 0.5–1.5 cm wide, margins toothed. Sori 1 or 2 per frond, at the apex; involucre ± circular to oblong, apex rounded, toothed; receptacle included.
Distribution and occurrence: Epiphytic in cooler rainforest of the Blue Mtns and adjacent ranges; uncommon.
