Homoranthus lunatus Craven & S.R.Jones APNI* 
Description: Spreading shrub to 1 m high.
Leaves laterally compressed, crescent- to scimitar-shaped, 4–10 mm long, 1–1.8 mm thick, <0.3 mm wide, apex mucronate; petiole to 1 mm long.
Flowers 1–6 on undifferentiated branchlets, yellow; peduncles 1–2 mm long; bracteoles 3–4.5 mm long, caducous. Hypanthium 3–4 mm long, 0.5–1.5 mm wide, 5-ribbed, glabrous. Sepals 1.5–2.3 mm long, apex long-acuminate, not lobed. Petals broad-elliptic or obovate 0.8–1 mm long, margin entire. Style 6–9 mm long.
Flowering: Flowers July–November
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in heath, shrub and woodland communities in sandy soils on granite outcrops and slopes; rare, confined to Boonoo Boonoo N.P. (near Tenterfield) and in Torrington district.
