Haloragis odontocarpa F.Muell. APNI*
Description: Annual herb, usually 30–50 cm high, with a well-developed taproot; stems green or reddish, glabrous or softly hairy.
Leaves alternate, sometimes lowermost ones ± opposite, ± lanceolate, usually 45–60 mm long, 10–15 mm wide, margins entire or toothed, pilose; petiole to 20 mm long.
Dichasia usually 3–7-flowered; flowers very shortly pedicellate. Petals 2–2.6 mm long, yellowish green. Ovary densely pilose.
Fruit variable in shape, ovoid, globose, pyriform or rectangular, 1–2 mm long, wrinkled, angular, ribbed or winged.
Distribution and occurrence: mainly in open Mulga woodland.
