Description: Herb 10–40 cm high, arising from a perennial rootstock; stems glaucous, glabrous or scabrous with semi-appressed hairs.
Leaves mostly alternate, narrow-lanceolate to oblanceolate, usually 35–45 mm long, 5–8 mm wide, glaucous, glabrous or scabrous with curved hairs, margins entire or toothed; sessile or shortly petiolate.
Dichasia 1–3-flowered; flowers shortly pedicellate. Petals 2–3 mm long, green to yellow. Ovary glabrous or scabrous.
Fruit globose to pyriform, warty at the base, 2–2.5 mm long.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on heavy soils, often along seasonal watercourses.
