Gunniopsis papillata Chinnock APNI*
Description: Erect or prostrate herb with hairy branches.
Leaves obtuse, to c. 30 mm long and 10 mm wide, papillose.
Flowers pedicellate. Stamens in 2 or 3 whorls.
Capsule 4-lobed, the lobes extending above the apex, to c. 7 mm long, valves bifid; seeds dark brown, finely tuberculate.
Distribution and occurrence: near ephemeral creeks and saline areas of the inland.
