Grevillea rhizomatosa Olde & Marriott APNI* 
Description: Rhizomatous bushy shrub 0.3–1 m high.
Leaves obovate to oblong-elliptic, 0.7–2.7 cm long, 7–12 mm wide, margins entire, shortly recurved to almost flat, upper surface convex, glabrous or with a few scattered, appressed hairs, lower surface bearing dense matted short hairs sometimes overlain by sparse long, appressed hairs.
Conflorescences 2–4-flowered. Perianth dull pink on the limb, green at base, openly tomentose outside, inconspicuously bearded inside 1–1.5 mm from the glabrous base, glabrous or with scattered hairs above the beard; limb ovoid-acuminate. Gynoecium 24 mm long; ovary villous, the hairs appressed to slightly spreading, sessile; style green, with moderately sparse appressed and ascending hairs; pollen presenter lateral.
Not known to set fruit or seed.
Flowering: Flowers spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sandy soil in sclerophyll forest usually near creek lines; confined to a few localities in Gibraltar Ra. N.P.
