Grevillea linsmithii McGill. APNI*
Description: Spreading shrub 0.7–2 m high.
Leaves narrowly oblong-obovate to oblong-elliptic, 3–9 cm long, 4–9 mm wide, margins entire and recurved, lower surface loosely villous.
Inflorescences often decurved, simple, few-flowered. Perianth dull rose red, sometimes yellowish near base, loosely subsericeous outside, bearded inside. Gynoecium c. 11–16 mm long; ovary stipitate, glabrous; style reddish, glabrous except for inconspicuous erect hairs especially towards apex, pollen presenter lateral.
Follicle glabrous.
Flowering: ?winter and spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in rocky situations in dry sclerophyll forests on granite, dacite, trachyte; upper reaches of Hastings R. and Forbes R. east of Yarrowitch.
