Grammitis diminuta (Baker) Copel. APNI*

Description: Rhizome stoutish, erect; scales lanceolate, long-pointed, somewhat flexuous, light brown.

Fronds simple; stipe merging shortly and imperceptably into attenuate base of lamina, glabrous; lamina very narrowly elliptic, 3–15(-25) cm long, 0.4–0.9 cm broad, entire, ±recurved when desiccated, long-attenuate at apex with tip blunt, ±coriaceous, glabrous; veins obscure.

Sori elongate, 1 row on each side of prominent midrib in upper part of frond, with a tendency to coalesce.

Distribution and occurrence: Lord Howe Is. Endemic. Confined to the upper slopes and tops of Mts Gower and Lidgbird.
