Glycine rubiginosa Tindale & B.E.Pfeil APNI* 
Description: Twiner; stems non-stoloniferous, with white to rusty hairs.
Leaves palmately 3-foliolate; leaflets linear to ± oblanceolate or narrow-elliptic, 2–5.5cm long, 2.5–5 mm wide, apex acuminate; upper surface almost always glaborous; lower surface with sparse, appressed white to rusty hairs; stipels usually absent, if present obscure and <0.25 mm long.
Racemes to 12 cm long. Calyx moderately to densely hairy with dark brown hairs (sometimes with scattered white hairs intermixed); sinus between upper teeth 0.25–0.5 mm long. Standard 6–8 mm long, mauve to purple.
Pods initially straight but twisting after dehiscence, to 2.5 cm long, 2.5 mm wide, without purple flecks, usually sparsely hairy, sometimes glaborous; seeds 5–9; surface smooth, motled.
Flowering: Flowers recorded from July–November
Distribution and occurrence: Rare in N.S.W., on high country around Broken Hill.

Ploidy unknown. Previously part of Glycine clandestina var. sericea.
