Glinus lotoides Loefl. APNI*
Description: Prostrate to spreading annual or short-lived perennial forming mats to 1 m diam.
Leaves alternate and/or opposite, elliptic to obovate, to 20 mm long, acute to obtuse, hairy; petiolate.
Flowers in groups of c. 4, shortly pedicellate. Perianth segments 6–8 mm long, white. Stamens 8–18, usually with some bifid staminodes.
Capsule 5-locular.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread in drier areas, especially in saline conditions or areas of high nitrogen such as stockyards and stock camps.
