Description: Rhizome long-creeping, slender, dark and wiry.
Fronds forked several times to 1 m long; pinnules to 3 cm long, dark green; ultimate segments of mature fronds flat or slightly recurved, c. 1–1.5 mm long and wide, glaucous beneath; lower surface of lateral axes with matted stellate hairs.
Sori with usually 2–4 sporangia, sometimes 2; indusia absent.
Distribution and occurrence: In swamps and creek banks of coastal lowlands; north from Minnie Water. Swamps and creek banks of coastal lowlands.
