Galactia tenuiflora (Willd.) Wight & Arn. APNI* Description: Climbing or trailing herb; stems ± pubescent.
Leaves 3-foliate; leaflets broad-ovate to ± circular or linear to narrow-elliptic, 10–70 mm long, 3–20 mm wide, apex obtuse to acute, finely mucronate or emarginate, upper surface ± glaborous, lower surface pubescent; petiole 1–4 cm long. Racemes 1–12 flowered; peduncle mostly 1–4 cm lng. Calyx 3–6 mm long.
Corolla 8–9 mm long; standard mauve to pink, sometimes with whitish eye, drying yellow; keel usually white to pink.
Pods linear, 1.5–4 cm long, appressed-pubescent; seeds 2–3.5 mm long, brown to blackish.
Flowering: Flowers summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Mostly grows on coastal headlands along coast or in sclerophyll forest.
