Description: Slender, glaucous annual 15–40 cm high.
Leaves variously pinnatisect, segments channelled, ± linear, usually < 1 mm wide.
Inflorescence sessile; bracts as long as the fruiting pedicels. Sepals < 1.5 mm long. Corolla 4–6 mm long, mostly white with a green or purple tip.
Fruit with base narrower than the pedicel, ± pointed at apex.
Flowering: winter to spring.
Distribution and occurrence: weed of crops and moist places. Native of Eurasia.

Fumaria parviflora Lam. var. parviflora and Fumaria parviflora var. indicoides Pugsley have been recorded in Australia. Fumaria formerly placed in family Fumariaceae.
