Frankenia crispa J.M.Black APNI* 
Description: Dense much-branched shrub, stems covered with white recurved hairs.
Leaves clustered, linear to ± terete, 2–5 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, rigid, margin thickened, tightly revolute with only midrib exposed, upper surface ± glabrous, lower surface minutely pubescent.
Flowers in short dense dichasia; bracts and bracteoles similar to leaves. Calyx 6–7 mm long, with scattered thick recurved hairs, sometimes ± glabrous. Petals 8–10 mm long. Stamens 6.
Seeds smooth.
Flowering: summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in semi-arid districts in the far SW of the State.
