Fieldia australis A.Cunn. APNI* 
Description: Small climber or epiphyte growing on tree trunks by adventitious roots; most parts hirsute with articulate hairs.
Leaves obovate to elliptic to ± oblong, larger leaves of pairs 3–7 cm long 10–30 mm wide, smaller leaves usually less than half the size, apex acute, margins coarsely toothed, both surfaces dull and sparsely hairy; petiole 0–8 mm long.
Peduncles shorter than longer leaves; bracteoles 5–12 mm long. Calyx 5–15 mm long. Corolla 25–35 mm long, creamy white.
Berry ± oblong to ovoid, 10–30 mm long, 10–12 mm diam., whitish and flecked with purple.
Flowering: chiefly summer–autumn.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows on trunks and moss-covered rocks; widespread in cool- and warm-rainforest, chiefly on the ranges.
