Description: Medium-sized tree, glabrous.
Leaves mostly opposite, rarely alternate, ovate, 3–10 cm long, 1–5 cm wide, margins entire, glabrous, green and glossy with veins faintly visible on both surfaces; petiole mostly 1–12 mm long.
Sepals 1–2 mm long, almost petaloid.
Fruit globose, ± laterally compressed, 4–8 mm diam., orange to yellow; seeds reddish brown. Fruits autumn-winter.
Distribution and occurrence: In warmer rainforest on the coast north from Nowra.
