Description: Coarse straggling herb to 50 cm high.
Leaves ovate to elliptic, often slightly falcate, mostly 7–15 cm long, 2–6 cm wide, apex acuminate, base strongly asymmetric, margins toothed, upper surface ± glabrous, lower surface pubescent; petiole 2–4 mm long.
Male heads 12–25 mm diam., white or yellowish; peduncle 2–8 cm long; female heads c. 9 mm diam., ± sessile.
Distribution and occurrence: In rainforest and moist sclerophyll forest, generally along streams or moist rock faces; north from Batemans Bay area.
