Elacholoma hornii F.Muell. & Tate APNI* 
Description: Small, prostrate to ± erect ephemeral with sparse tiny non-glandular hairs lining leaves, bracts and calyx teeth and angles; branches 1–5 cm long.
Leaves linear, grooved above to ± terete, 3–12 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, apex acute, ± fleshy.
Flowers at all but lowest nodes; pedicels 0–1 mm long. Calyx 3–5 mm long, prominently angled; teeth 1–1.5 mm long. Corolla usually 4.5–7 mm long; lobes 2–4 mm long, ± unequal, pointed outwards.
Capsule ovoid, 3–4.5 mm long, included in persistent calyx.
Flowering: late summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sandy to heavy soils on damp margins of swamps and small watercourses; recorded for Bourke district.
