Description: Small herb with very short stems.
Leaves in a flat rosette; lamina spathulate, 8–10 mm long, 5–6 mm wide, narrowed to a short petiole or sessile; stipules to 8 mm long, trifid, with lobes lacinate.
Inflorescences 1–3, with 3–10 flowers, 6–15 cm long. Calyx 2–3 mm long, divided almost to base into narrow-oblong lobes, striate. Petals 4 mm long, white or pink.
Flowering: Winter to Spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread. Growing in wet situations.
