Dodonaea macrossanii F.Muell. & Scort. APNI*
Description: Spreading shrub to 0.3 m high with prostrate branches.
Leaves imparipinnate, 1–2 cm long; leaflets mostly 5–7, obtriangular to obovate, 2–3 mm long and 1–2 mm wide, apex obtuse or 2- or 3-toothed, sticky, hirsute (sometimes near the apex only), base cuneate; petiole mostly 8–15 mm long.
Flowers solitary, axillary; pedicels < 1 mm long. Sepals 3, ovate, 1.5–2 mm long, persistent. Stamens 6. Ovary pubescent.
Capsule usually 3-lobed, 2–3.5 mm long and 4–6 mm wide, hirsute to pubescent.
Distribution and occurrence: in woodland on sandy-clay soil; rare in N.S.W., only known from near Yetman.
