Description: Spreading or erect shrub to 2 m high.
Leaves imparipinnate, 0.7–3.5 cm long; leaflets 7–15, usually angular-obovate to obovate, mostly 2.5–6.5 mm long, 1.5–4.5 mm wide, apex 3–6-toothed or -lobed; base cuneate, margins entire, revolute or recurved with sunken glands on margins of upper surface, glabrous to pubescent; petiole 1–8 mm long.
Flowers axillary, 2 or 3 together; pedicels 4–8 mm long. Sepals 4, lanceolate to ovate, 2–4 mm long, not persistent. Stamens 8. Ovary densely pubescent.
Capsule 4-winged, 8–20 mm long, 10–18 mm wide, glabrous or sometimes pubescent; wings 2.5–5 mm wide, membranous.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread, in various habitats, in dry sclerophyll forest on sandstone or woodland or heath communities.
