Description: Decumbent to erect shrub 0.2–1.5 m high; stems glabrous with prominent, glabrous decurrent leaf bases.
Leaves suberect to spreading, linear, ± trigonous, 6–15 mm long, apex acuminate, incurved, smooth, glabrous with papillate surface when dry; stipules absent.
Inflorescences 1-flowered, in the upper axils; peduncle absent; bracts and bracteoles c. 1 mm long, glabrous or margins ciliate. Calyx 5–6 mm long, glabrous. Standard 6–7 mm long.
Pods 5–7 mm long; seeds smooth.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in swampy heath to heath on shallow peaty soil over sandstone; confined to the Mt Jamberoo area.
