Description: Erect shrub 0.75–2.3 m high; stems glabrous with conspicuous yellow lenticels.
Leaves spreading to reflexed, linear, keeled, 4.5–7.5 mm long, apex obtuse, often with a recurved tip, smooth, glabrous, young leaves glaucous becoming bluish green to green with age; stipules absent.
Inflorescences 1-flowered, in the upper axils of the stem; peduncle 2–2.5 mm long; bracts 0.5–1.0 mm long, ovate to broad-ovate, glabrous, margins ciliate towards apex; bracteoles c. 1 mm long, ovate, glabrous, margins ciliate towards apex. Calyx 3.5–6.0 mm long, glabrous. Standard 4.5–5.5 mm long.
Pods 4.0–5.5 mm long; seeds smooth.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in dry sclerophyll woodlands, usually in heavy clay soils; only known from the Windellama, Michelago and Numeralla areas.
