Dillwynia acicularis Sieber ex DC. APNI* Synonyms: Dillwynia acicularis var. leptophylla Blakely APNI*
Description: Erect shrub, mostly 1–3 m high; stems with short appressed hairs.
Leaves erect, rarely some spreading or reflexed, narrow-linear, often trigonous with a groove along the upper surface, 10–35 mm long but usually 15–20 mm long, apex acuminate, glabrous or with some silky hairs.
Inflorescences racemose, often 3 c. or more in length, terminal, with basal flowers often subtended by leaves; bracts c. 1 mm long, pubescent; bracteoles c. 1 mm long, pubescent. Calyx 4–5 mm long, pubescent, lower lobes shorter than the tube. Standard 7–9 mm long.
Pod c. 6 mm long, seeds smooth.
Distribution and occurrence: in dry sclerophyll forest on sandstone or occasionally on granite; from the Goulburn R. to Bargo.
