Dianella nervosa R.J.F.Hend. APNI* 
Description: Perennial herb to 0.7 m high, tufted, solitary; tufts < 2 cm diam. at base; roots fleshy-fibrous.
Leaves to 110 cm long; sheath ribbed on lower surface, ± completely occluded; blade 3–12 mm wide.
Inflorescence exceeding foliage; cymules 2–15-flowered; perianth pale to mid blue; outer tepals 7–10 mm long, 5–7-veined; inner tepals 6.5–9.5 mm long, 3–5-veined. Stamens with filament swellings 0.9–2 mm long, yellow; anthers tan to dark brown.
Berry < 10 mm long.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Far north coastal ranges, north from Dalmorton. Grows in sclerophyll forest coastal ranges, on sandy and loamy soils.
