Deparia petersenii APNI* Description: Rhizome short-creeping, to 5 mm diam., bearing many thin light brown scales.
Fronds erect, 30–80 cm high; stipe stout, to 40 cm long, dark and scaly at the base, paler above; lamina pale green, lanceolate to triangular, herbaceous, 2-pinnatisect.
Sori linear to oblong, opening towards midrib of each lobe.
Distribution and occurrence: In rainforest and tall open forest in coastal areas north from the Illawarra region; becomes naturalized readily.
