Daviesia arenaria Crisp APNI* 
Description: Low hummocky shrub to 1.5 m high and 2.5 m wide, grey-hispid or rarely glabrous.
Phyllodes cordate, broad- to narrow-elliptic or rarely obovate, slightly V-shaped in section, 2.5–10 mm long, 1.5–8 mm wide, apex tapered, pungent, base cordate to cuneate; midrib prominent on lower surface; venation obscure.
Racemes reduced to 1 flower, 1 or 2 per axil; flower stalk 2–3 mm long. Corolla orange-pink with maroon and yellow markings. Calyx 3–4 mm long including c. 0.5 mm receptacle; teeth subequal, acute.
Pod 6–7 mm long, 4–5.5 mm wide.
Flowering: July–September
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in mallee, sporadic on deep sand; Bogan Gate to Griffith, also Euston district.
