Description: Erect shrub to 1.5 m high.
Leaves linear, 11–18 mm long, 0.8–1 mm wide, glabrous, upper surface concave.
Flowers in clusters of 1–6; peduncles 0.5–1 mm long, the flowers subtended by a foliage leaf. Bracteoles caducous, 4–6 mm long. Hypanthium 4.5–5 mm long, 1–2 mm diam., 5-ribbed. Sepals triangular, 0.3–0.5 mm long, margin erose. Petals 1–1.5 mm long, margin erose. Style 7–8 mm long.
Flowering: Flowers September–March
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in heath and Casuarina thickets on gravelly or sandy soil in the Budawang Ra. and at Macquarie Pass
