Description: Rhizome short-creeping or ± erect, to 5 mm diam., covered with thin light brown scales.
Fronds erect, to 35 cm high; stipe slender, mostly to 15 cm long, scaly (especially towards the base); lamina pale green, pinnate or more compound; pinnae irregularly dissected and lobed.
Sori circular, towards the margins.
Distribution and occurrence: in rock crevices in subalpine regions; rare.
