Style 2-fid.
Nuts biconvex.
Distribution and occurrence: Not yet collected in NSW but may occur in far western NSW. It has been collected near the Murray River in Victoria and South Australia, and farther north in NE South Australia and SW Queensland. Open areas, commonly grows with other annual species of Cyperaceae.
