Description: Erect then ascending, decumbent or prostrate subshrub with stems to 50 cm long, densely greyish to bluish green pubescent.
Leaves 1-foliolate; lamina obovate to elliptic, 1–4 cm long, 5–25 mm wide, densely tomentose at first, becoming ± glabrous on upper surface, then obscurely glandular; petiole 1.5–6 mm long; stipules 1.5–2.5 mm long.
Racemes 5–10 cm long, flowers ± crowded; pedicels 1.5–2.5 mm long. Calyx 3–4 mm long, tomentose. Corolla 6–8 mm long, yellow, often reddish at centre; the wings shorter than keel; keel shortly beaked, ± twisted at apex.
Pod 10–20 mm long; seeds c. 4 mm long, pale orange.
Flowering: after rain, mostly autumn–winter.
Distribution and occurrence: Often on sands of hills and creek beds and banks, north from Tibooburra district.
