Description: Shrub 1–3 m high, sparsely branched with clusters of erect branches above; stems ± glabrous or tuberculate.
Leaves broad- to narrow-elliptic, 8–22 cm long, 2–6 mm wide, glaucous, thick.
Racemes terminal, 2–2.5 mm long, often on short branches clustered near the top of the stems; pedicels 3.5–6 mm long. Flowers 4–7 mm long, purple-pink or white. Outer sepals c. 2 mm long, c. a quarter as long as the wing sepals; wing sepals c. 6 mm long, up to 8 mm. Lateral petals as long as keel; keel pouched at sides.
Fruit ovate-cuneate, 7–13 mm long.
Flowering: October–January
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in sclerophyll communities on a variety of substrates, northeast from the Warrumbungle Mtns.
