Comesperma sphaerocarpum Steetz APNI* 
Description: Straggling plant to 20 cm high with few or occasionally many ± leafless stems; stems ± ridged, glabrous or with scattered hairs.
Leaves narrow elliptic to oblanceolate < 8 mm long, < 2 mm wide, thick, rarely seen and then on lower part of plant.
Racemes lax, terminal, up to 9 cm long; pedicels 2.5–3 mm long. Flowers 3–8 mm long, bright purplish blue. Outer sepals c. 3 mm long, a half to two-thirds as long as wing sepals; wing sepals mostly 6 mm long. Lateral petals with hairs at tip, longer than keel; keel pouched at sides. Style oblique.
Fruit broad-cuneate to ± circular, c. 4 mm long.
Flowering: October–May.
Distribution and occurrence: Generally grows in dry sclerophyll forest or heath on sandy soil, east of a line between Warialda and Nowra.
