Comesperma defoliatum F.Muell. APNI* 
Description: Slender shrub to 60 cm high with few to numerous erect ± leafless stems arising from a woody base; stems ± ridged, glabrous.
Leaves elliptic to narrow-elliptic, 5–12 mm long, < 1.5 mm wide, rarely seen and then on lower part of plant.
Racemes terminal up to 10 cm long; pedicels 1–2.5 mm long. Flowers 3–5 mm long, blue or purplish blue. Outer sepals c. 1 mm long; wing sepals mostly 2–3 mm long, shortly clawed. Lateral petals spathulate, longer than keel; keel pouched at sides. Style apex forked.
Fruit ovate, with a long narrow base, 7–11 mm long.
Flowering: November–May.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in wet sandy heath or swamp in sclerophyll forest, east from Rylstone area.
