Description: Terrestrial herb.
Leaves 2.
Flower narrow, 30–34 mm long, greenish brown with a dark labellum callus. Dorsal sepal spathulate, 12–14 mm long, 2–2.5 mm wide; osmophore 3–4 mm long. Lateral sepals recurved, 15–22 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide; osmophore 7–10 mm long, yellowish. Petals oblong, 7–9 mm long, 2–2.3 mm wide, reflexed. Labellum diamond-shaped, 7–10 mm long, 4–5 mm wide, anterior margins strongly recurved, a black, insectiform callus occupying most of the upper surface.
Flowering: February–May.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread on the ranges and on the coast, in moist areas of sclerophyll forest; north from Batemans Bay.
