Carronia multisepalea F.Muell. APNI*
Description: Woody climber with stems and petioles rusty-pubescent, ± glabrescent with age, dioecious.
Leaves with lamina lanceolate to narrow-elliptic, usually 6–20 cm, sometimes to 30 cm long, 3–8 cm wide, upper surface dark green, lower surface paler, firm to tough, commonly ± glabrous, sometimes lamina covered on lower surface with fine appressed woolly hairs; petiole 1.5–5 cm long, twisted and with a distinct pulvinus at the apex.
Inflorescences mostly axillary, spicate, to 18 cm long; males in few-flowered clusters covered with grey-brown hairs; female flowers usually solitary along the axis.
Drupes obovoid, c. 15 mm long, hairy.
Distribution and occurrence: Widespread in subtropical rainforest, north from Dorrigo.
