Camptacra barbata N.T.Burb. APNI* 
Description: Erect or decumbent herb, usually 30–40 cm high.
Leaves with lamina linear to ± narrow-oblong, usually 1–4 cm long and < 2 mm wide, apex acute or 3-toothed, margins entire or coarsely toothed, lower surface glabrous or woolly, upper surface ± glabrescent; sessile.
Peduncle usually 15–20 cm long with 1 or 2 bracts, woolly only at apex or throughout. Heads 5–7 mm long; involucral bracts c. 35, inner longer, 5–8 mm long, rounded to acute, sparsely hairy on outer surface or margins, innermost purplish at apices. Ray florets c. 5 mm long, white or mauve.
Achenes slightly flattened or subterete, 3.5–4 mm long, glabrous or with a few appressed hairs; pappus 4.5–5.5 mm long.
Flowering: spring–autumn.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in grassland, often on rocky hills; north from Howell (Inverell district), not common.
