Bossiaea riparia A.Cunn. ex Benth. APNI*
Description: Low-growing erect or decumbent shrub, ± glabrous; stems ± terete, flat, winged lateral branches ≤ 3 mm wide.
Leaves reduced to small scales, c. 1 mm long.
Flowers 6–10 mm long; pedicels 2–4 mm long; bracts 5 or 6, ≤ 1 mm long; bracteoles c. 1.5 mm long, inserted near middle of pedicel, persistent with the bracts. Calyx 3–4 mm long. Standard yellow; keel and wings ± red. Ovary shortly stipitate, glabrous; ovules c. 4.
Pod narrow-oblong to elliptic, c. 2 cm long; stipe ≤ 5 mm long.
Flowering: spring to early summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows at high altitudes in both wet and dry, exposed sites; south of the A.C.T.
