Description: Small to medium tree to 18 m high.
Leaves 14–45 cm long; leaflets 5–13, elliptic-oblong to oblanceolate, 9–27 cm long, 1.5–7 cm wide, apex acuminate, base acute to ± obtuse, margins mostly bluntly toothed, glabrous, oil dots very distinct; petiole 3–8 cm long; lateral petiolules 0–8 mm long, terminal petiolule 5–25 mm long.
Inflorescences terminal, mostly 15–20 cm long, branches pubescent. Sepals c. 1 mm long, glabrous. Petals c. 4.5 mm long. Ovary woolly.
Cocci ± globose, 15–25 mm wide, often transversely ribbed.
Flowering: late summer.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows along streams in rainforest, north of Clarence R.
