Description: Shrub or small tree, 1–4 m high, glabrous; branchlets with 2 grooves separated by decurrent leaf bases.
Leaves aromatic, pinnate with 3–15 leaflets, terminal leaflet often shortest; rachis 9–40 mm long, slightly winged; leaflets narrow-elliptic to linear-oblong, 5–30 mm long, 1–6 mm wide, apex acute, margins finely glandular-crenate and revolute to recurved, lower surface slightly paler; petiole 7–17 mm long.
Inflorescences axillary, 2–6-flowered; pedicels 5–15 mm long. Petals 6–9 mm long, imbricate, bright pink, not persistent in fruit.
Cocci glabrous.
Flowering: August–November
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in wet and dry sclerophyll forest in damp shady situations on sandstone, from the Sydney region to Nadgee.
