Boronia subulifolia Cheel APNI*
Description: Shrub 0.25–1.1 m high; branchlets ± pilose, slightly angled to prominently 4-angled.
Leaves pinnate with 5–9 leaflets, terminal leaflet often slightly shortest; rachis 2–8 mm long; leaflets linear-oblong, ± terete, 4–15 mm long, 0.3–1 mm wide, apex subulate, margins entire, mostly glabrous; petiole 2–4 mm long.
Inflorescences terminal to axillary, 1–3-flowered; pedicels 1–4 mm long. Calyx pilose. Petals 5–8 mm long, imbricate, mostly bright pink to purplish, glabrous except for ciliate margins and fine hairs towards apex, not persistent in fruit.
Cocci glabrous.
Flowering: September–January
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in heath and open woodland on rocky sandstone slopes, chiefly in the Budawang Ra.
