Boronia occidentalis Duretto APNI* Description: Shrub 0.2–1 m high; branchlets pubescent, glandular-warty.
Leaves pinnate to bipinnate with 3 pinnae, each with 3 leaflets, terminal leaflet often shortest; rachis 3–8 mm long; leaflets ± linear-oblong, 2–14 mm long, 1–2 mm wide, apex obtuse to acute, margins entire, glabrous to sparsely pubescent, glandular-warty; petiole 3–9 mm long.
Inflorescences axillary, 1–3-flowered; pedicels 1–4 mm long. Calyx glabrous. Petals 2–4 mm long, imbricate, white to pale pink, often with a darker pink midline outside, glabrous, persistent in fruit.
Cocci glabrous.
Flowering: July–January
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in woodland in sandy soils, north from Dubbo.
