Bertya sp. Clouds Creek (M.Fatemi 4) APNI* Description: Monoecious shrub to 3 m high; branchlets are terete, densely hairy with golden-brown stellate hairs.
Leaves opposite, linear, with stipitate basal glands; lamina 50–75 mm or more long, 9–17 mm wide, hairs stellate above, densely stellate below.
Capsules globose, 12 mm long, 10 mm wide.
Flowering: Spring till early Summer.
Distribution and occurrence: North-eastern N.S.W. Occurs from the Gibraltar Range to the Macleay Gorges Occurs in heath or low shrubland vegetation at altitudes to 1000 m, on steep, rocky slopes in shallow soil.
