Asterolasia rivularis Paul G.Wilson APNI* 
Description: Erect shrubs to 1.5 m high, young branches grey to brown stellate-tomentose.
Leaves narrow-oblong to narrowly oblong-cuneate, 1–2.5 cm long, 2–3 mm wide, apex obtuse to rounded, margins slightly recurved, upper surface with scattered stellate hairs, lower surface brownish stellate-tomentose; tapered into a short petiole.
Flowers 1–3, in sessile axillary and terminal clusters; pedicels to c. 3 mm long in flower. Petals c. 6 mm long, yellow, outer surface rusty stellate-tomentose.
Fruit not seen.
Flowering: Flowers early spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows along streams; apparently rare, restricted to the Avon Dam to Buxton area.
