Asterolasia hexapetala (Juss.) Druce APNI* 
Description: Erect spreading shrubs, 1–3 m high, branches softly brown stellate-tomentose.
Leaves obovate to oblong or lanceolate, 2–6 cm long, 5–15 mm wide, apex obtuse, flat, both surfaces greenish and covered with a white to brownish stellate tomentum, lower surface usually paler; petiole 5–15 mm long.
Flowers few together in terminal or rarely axillary clusters; pedicels 5–20 mm long in flower but lengthening up to 30 mm in fruit. Petals 7–9 mm long, usually white, white to yellow or brown stellate-tomentose outside. Stigma lobed.
Cocci stellate-tomentose, beaked.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows along rocky watercourses and lower slopes in sclerophyll forest and woodland, at lower altitudes in Warrumbungle N.P.
