Description: Slender erect shrub, 1–3 m high; young branches densely rusty-red stellate-tomentose.
Leaves narrow-lanceolate to lanceolate or ± elliptic, 4–13 cm long, 9–25 mm wide, apex acuminate, flat, upper surface dark green with white and rusty stellate hairs, lower surface densely white and rusty stellate-tomentose; petiole 5–15 mm long.
Flowers axillary or terminal, in 1–9-flowered clusters; pedicels 4–18 mm long. Petals 8–14 mm long, white, densely white stellate-tomentose outside. Stigma lobed.
Cocci stellate-tomentose, constricted at the apex.
Flowering: spring.
Distribution and occurrence: Grows in wet sclerophyll forest on moist hillsides, known from only one locality, north of Maroota.
